A Perfectly relaxed Wedding: Evelyn and Jeremiah at Rathsallagh House
On April 20th, 2024, I had the pleasure of filming the wedding of Evelyn and Jeremiah at the picturesque Rathsallagh House. It was a day defined by tranquility, love, and the beauty of a well-planned celebration. Every moment, from the morning preparations to the evening festivities, was held on the stunning grounds of this country house, making it an ideal location for such a special event.
Morning Preparations
The day began with a relaxed atmosphere as Evelyn and Jeremiah prepared for their big day. Evelyn’s makeup was flawlessly done by Ruth Cassidy Makeup, creating a natural yet elegant look that perfectly complemented her wedding attire. Her hair, styled by Junebughair, added to her radiant appearance, with soft waves that framed her face beautifully. Meanwhile, Jeremiah was equally composed, surrounded by his closest friends and family.
First Look in the Gardens
One of the most memorable moments was the first look, which took place in the serene gardens of Rathsallagh House. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as Evelyn and Jeremiah saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. This intimate moment was beautifully captured, setting the tone for the rest of the day. Following the first look, the couple had a photoshoot in the gardens. The barn’s rustic charm, combined with the couple’s heartfelt vows, created an unforgettable ceremony that moved everyone present.

After the ceremony, the reception was held outdoors. Guests enjoyed drinks and mingled in the open air, taking in the beautiful surroundings of Rathsallagh House. The flowers by Geraldine Coakley added vibrant splashes of color to the venue, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere. It was a joy to capture the candid moments of laughter and conversation as everyone celebrated Evelyn and Jeremiah's union.
The evening’s entertainment was provided by The Arthur, a fantastic wedding band that kept the energy high and the dance floor busy. Their music ensured that everyone had a great time, dancing and celebrating late into the night.
